Back in the day when I first started smoking e-cigarettes, I was fascinated by the process. It almost seemed like magic how everything worked together in order to give me the satisfaction of smoking, without many of its negative side effects.
The whole thing has nothing to do with magic, though (I was pretty disappointed when I found that out). Basically, every time you activate the CloudCig e-cigarette, the battery heats up the e-liquid through the coil and allows you to inhale the sweet, tasty vapour and get your nicotine fix. It’s pretty simple when you get down to the details, but the battery is the core of things.
Look and feel
At CloudCig we design our e-cigarettes so they look and feel as close to what smokers are used to as possible. Still, we also recognise that you sometimes like a break from the routine, and we’ve got you covered there, as well. The cartomiser model is white with a white battery and can hardly be distinguished from a normal cigarette. The clearomiser model comes with a black battery and a transparent (or clear) clearomiser so you can see when you need to refill it. Both are about the same weight and very comfortable to hold and use. Some of our packages come with more than one battery so you can keep using the device with one battery as the other one is charging. Just make sure that you don’t forget to charge them, because having two dead batteries while you’re dying for a smoke can be quite unpleasant (trust me, I know from experience)
CloudCig uses high quality batteries which makes them quite awesome on several levels. First off – size. They’re not uncomfortably big, clunky, and heavy, and are actually quite manageable. Also, they hold a bigger charge than you’d expect from such small batteries and you can easily get more than 300 puffs per charge. You might need to replace the battery after some time of use, which can range depending on how often you use the e-cigarette, but it’s generally estimated at about 300 charges.
Depending on the package you purchase, there are a few different options for charging your battery. The first one is the traditional, through USB. You just plug it into your computer or laptop and let it charge. This takes a bit more time than other methods. Alternatively, there is a car charger you can use by plugging it into your cigarette lighter receptacle. Again, this is not the fastest method. If you want things get done faster, you have to either use a charging case, or the UK mains charger provided in some of the kits. For more information, have a look at the shop menu.
Sharing time can vary depending on the method you’re using, but ultimately it doesn’t take more than two hours, on average, to fully charge your battery. We recommend that you make sure the battery is dead before you begin charging it if you want to make the most of it.
That’s about it. This is all you need to know about your e-cigarette battery. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know.
